Final Fantasy TRPG: Legend Edition will be featured at SAGExpo 2024! For those unfamiliar, SAGE is a long-running online expo dedicated to highlighting games made by amateur developers. Originally a showcase for Sonic the Hedgehog fan games and ROM hacks, SAGE has since become a celebration of all independent games, whether they be fan games or original works.

Legend Edition's inclusion marks a special milestone for the event as it is the first tabletop roleplaying game to be featured at the event, and the second tabletop game overall. It is an incredible privilege for us to be able to share and introduce the tabletop medium with so many passionate fans and talented developers, and hopefully, encourage others to design their own games in the tabletop space.

When's the expo, and how do I access it?

SAGE 2024 runs from September 6th-13th, 2024. Once the expo is under way, you'll be able to browse submissions here. We also suggest subscribing to their official YouTube channel, as they'll be uploading a trailer soon that will give you a preview of this year's game submissions. Legend Edition is just one of many games being showcased at the event, and we encourage you to check out other people's projects as well. If last year's offering was anything to go by, you'll be in for a good time!

What's being featured for Legend Edition?

On our booth, you'll be able to download a demo kit for the game. Within the kit, you'll find the Character Keeper, Party Tracker, and Condition Markers that are currently available to download on the main Itch page. Additionally, you'll get access to a SAGE exclusive, 300+ page demo version of the core rule book, containing the first 10 chapters and a preview of the Bestiary! The remainder of the Bestiary and our game's 11th chapter are set to release with the full 1.0 version of the game sometime after the expo has concluded. You won't have to wait much longer to get your hands on the system, and we're beyond excited to hear your feedback!
